What is North Shore Theatre Company?

NSTC (previously Chatswood Musical Society) is a community theatre company that has been operating for over 70 years. We aim to produce 2 - 3 shows per calendar year. We are a company purely run by volunteers who love theatre and or just want to help their community.
How can I volunteer?

We are always looking for volunteers to assist us with a wide range of jobs from helping organise our productions, to marketing, to accounting, to set building/construction, lighting operators, mic techs (we could go on!). I have emailed but have not had a response yet?

Our company is run purely by volunteers! We always want to respond to your enquiries but this does mean there may be a delay in responding. We ask you to please wait at least 48 - 72 hours before submitting your question again.

How old do I need to be, to perform in an NSTC Production?

Our age limits can change from show to show. Age limits for auditions will always be announced with the audition pack. If there is a show you want to audition for but no information has been released yet, please await the release of the audition pack. Please note all 18+ volunteers and performers will usually require a Working With Children Check.
How do I know when auditions are?

Our auditions are held roughly 6 months out from the performance dates. Our upcoming shows can be viewed on our website. We will always post audition information via our socials and website. If no information is there, then we have no current auditions. We encourage you to follow us on social media to stay up to date.
How can I book tickets to see your productions?

Tickets are usually released about 3-4 months prior to our performance dates. Please visit the production page that you would like to book tickets for. If there is no ticket link shown, tickets have not been released yet. You can also always visit our socials for up-to-date ticket information.
I have booked tickets and need to change them/or have a question?

The Zenith Theatre Chatswood handles all tickets. Please call them on (02) 9777 7555 to discuss your tickets.
